Kinetic Ridge Financials ("we," "us," or "our") takes the privacy of every website visitor and client seriously. Bookkeeping work depends on trust, and this policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the bookkeeping services we provide.
Information you give us. When you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to share about your business. Booking is handled through Calendly, which may also collect your time zone and calendar details under its own privacy policy.
Client financial records. If you become a client, we access the records needed to do the work: bank and credit card statements, accounting software data, invoices, receipts, payroll summaries, and similar documents. We only collect what the engagement requires.
Website usage data. Our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of each visit. This is standard server logging and is not used to identify you personally.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not use client data for advertising.
We share information only when needed to serve you or when the law requires it:
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information in our care. These include password protected and encrypted systems, secure file transfer rather than unencrypted email attachments for sensitive documents, limited access on a need-to-know basis, and regular review of the tools we rely on. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk at every step.
Client financial records are kept for as long as needed to provide services and to satisfy legal and tax retention periods, after which they are securely deleted or returned. Inquiry emails from people who do not become clients are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and follow up.
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Embedded third party tools, such as the Calendly booking page, may set their own cookies when you use them.
You may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You may also withdraw consent to communications from us. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond promptly.
This site links to outside services such as Calendly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will always reflect the latest version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
